Silverstone Farm, North Elmham, Norfolk, NR20 5EX

Silverstone Farm in the heart of the Norfolk countryside has been created over the last 20 years by garden designer George Carter. The 2 acre formal garden is arranged round the farmhouse and early 19th century farm buildings that include the Engine House - an elegant holiday cottage. It has been featured in several books and articles.

The gardens at Silverstone Farm consist of a series of hedged outdoor rooms and utilise topiarised plants that would have been used in the gardens of the 17th and early 18th centuries. The gardens have been featured in several books and articles including George Carter’s own garden design books and articles:

Garden Space, Mitchell Beazley, March 2005
